Water mist systems are an essential firefighting tool. The small water droplets released can control suppress and extinguish the fire, limiting the damage done to your business also protecting you, and staff as well as your visitors. Misting systems can be used in commercial, industrial, residential, and domestic situations.
Conventional fire sprinkler systems were, originally developed for commercial properties. Whilst these systems perform well in specific situations, they are not ideal for homes or residential properties such as care premises or blocks of flats.
Nozzles operating independently (Misting Systems) will use 80% less water than traditional sprinkler systems. Independent discreet nozzles cause less water damage in the event of a fire. Most misting systems are environmentally friendly and only use water from the mains when needed.
In the event of a fire these systems will discharge a calculated amount of water mist from the nearest nozzle, suppressing the fire efficiently without causing excess water damage.
